The Acoustical
Society of America is the premier international scientific society in acoustics,
dedicated to increasing and diffusing the knowledge of acoustics and its
practical applications. The present membership of approximately 7000 includes
leaders in acoustics in the U.S. and other countries. The Society includes
members from various fields related to sound including physics; electrical,
mechanical, and aeronautical engineering; oceanography; biology; physiology;
psychology; architecture; speech; noise and noise control; and music. |
